Title: Two New Species of the Genus Austrohancockia Gunther from Fujian and Zhejiang Province,China(Orthoptera:Cladonotidae)
Abstract: In the present paper, two new species of the genus Austrohancockia Gunther are described: Austrohancocokia wuyishanensis sp.nov.and Austrohancockia fengyangshanensis sp.nov.A key to all species of the genus was provided. The specimens of the new species are kept in the Institute of Zoology,Shaanxi Normal University.1 Austrohancocokia wuyishanensis sp.nov.(Fig.1)This new species resembles A.gressitti(Zheng et Liang,1987),but differs in:1)width of vertex 2.5 times the width of an eye;2)in profile, vertex together with frontal ridge forming an acute-angle;3)width of sulcus of frontal ridge 2.5 times as wide as the coax of antenna;4)length of a segment in middle of antenna 6 times longer than width;5)humeral angles of pronotum blunt-angular;6)antegenicular right angular;7)third pulvillus of first segment of hind tarsi longer than first and second;8)hind tibia black, with two light rings in the middle.Length of body: ♀13 mm;length of pronotuom: ♀12 mm;length of hind femur: ♀6.5 mm.Holotype ♀,China,Fujian,Cong′an,118° E,27°7′ N,1984-Ⅶ-24,collected by ZHENG Zhe-min.2 Austrohancockia fengyangshanensis sp.nov.(Fig.2)This new species is allied to A.gibba Liang et Zheng,1991 and A.qiyunshanensis Zheng,1998.It differs from both in: 1)length of a segment in middle of antenna 5 times longer than width;2)humeral angles of pronotum blunt-angular;3)in profile, upper margin of pronotum arc, slightly concave in middle;4)basal part of hind tibia brown, the other part yellow brown. It differs from the former in: 1)width of sulcus of frontal ridge 2 times as wide as the coax of antenna;2)width of anterior femur larger than midfemur. It also differs from the latter in: 1)hind process of pronotum reaching knee of hind femur;2)third pulvillus of first segment of hind tarsi longer than the first and the second.Length of body: ♀6 mm;length of pronotum: ♀7 mm;length of hind femur: ♀4 mm.Holotype ♀,China,Zhejiang,Longquan,119°1′ E,28° N,2007-Ⅶ-25,collected by XIE Guang-lin.
