Title: The Target Market Selection of Domestic Tourism of Sichun Province
Abstract: The domestic tourist market is the main part of Sichuan tourist market.The initial task of expanding the domestic tourist market is to subdivide the market and select the target market.Based on(Crampon's) basic attraction model,this paper analyzes three factors,i.e.,the tourist power of source(region,) the attraction of destination,the distance between the tourist's source region and destination,and argues that the target market of Sichuan domestic tourism should be divided into three levels.The(first-level) market includes Sichuan,Chongqing,Shaanxi,Yunnan,Beijing,Shanghai,Guangdong,(Jiangsu,) Zhejiang,and Hebei.The second-level market includes Fujian,Shandong,Hainan,Liaoning,(Guangxi,) Hubei,Hunan,and Henan.The third-level market includes Jilin,Heilongjiang,Anhui,Shanxi,Jiangxi,Inner Mongolia,Guizhou,Tibet,Gansu,Qinghai,Ningxia and Xinjiang.
