Title: Clinical Evaluation of Ultrasonic Irrigation in Root Canal Preparation of Necrotic Teeth
Abstract: Objective To investigate the effects of ultrasonic irrigation in root canal preparation of necrotic teeth.Methods 144 teeth of 144 patients were equally divided into two groups at random. Ultrasonic irrigation and syringe irrigation were used separately during the canal rinsing.Results 18.06% of patients in ulatrasonic group felt uncomfortable or painful and 40.28% of the patients in the control group felt comfortable or painful. Conclusion Root canal irrigation with ultrasonic might greatly decrease or lighten the periapical reaction in the root canal therapy of necrotic teeth.
