Title: A Survey on Teachers' Job Satisfaction and Its Improving Strategies in Science and Engineering Universities and Colleges
Abstract: Employee's satisfaction is the core of psychological contract. Through the survey on teachers' satisfaction in science and engineering universities and colleges,it is found that the teachers identify with their profession but have a low opinion of work state. They worry about work pressure and individual development exceedingly; they have a low opinion of democracy management. The mutual understanding,trust and support relations must be built between the office managers and college teachers; they look forward to improving teaching qualities and feature development. Suggestions are proposed start from education and system,strengthen the teachers' recognition of profession and post; aimed at different groups,construct diverse incentive mechanism; pay attention on the development and growth of young teachers; strengthen connotation construction; open up democracy management channel,improve teachers participate in democracy management;strengthen scientific decision-making,coordinately promote university development.
