The studies show that the formation of metallic ore deposit is closely related to Jinning Movement in this period. In recent years many data show that most metallic ore deposits in Xikang-Yunnan axis formed between 700 ~900 Ma, occurred in the same time with Rodinia supercontinent incident. The structural collision, granite intrusion and formation of sedimentary basin are believed to be closely related to intraplate subduction and extension. The authors discuss the relationship of mineralization with Rodinia supercontinent through isotope geochronology and sedimentary environment and the relationship between uranium mineralization and Rodinia supercontinent incident.Read More
