Abstract:An assessment model of comprehensive coordination degree(CCD) of regional sustainable development is established by using the methods of analytical hierarchy process(AHP) and principal component analy...An assessment model of comprehensive coordination degree(CCD) of regional sustainable development is established by using the methods of analytical hierarchy process(AHP) and principal component analysis.According to this model and the statistical data from 14 coastal cities in Guangdong from 1995 to 2004,their CCD for sustainable development are estimated quantitatively.The result indicates that their sustainable development progresses kept a climbing tendency,but the regional distribution took on an imbalance in the last 10 years,the distribution pattern is that CCD was high in the middle part and low in the western and eastern parts of the Guangdong coastal area.Read More
