Abstract:In order to open out the rule of the interior flow for high specific speed mixed-flow pump,the numerical simulation of it was calculated by commercial software fluent.Reynold average N-S equation was ...In order to open out the rule of the interior flow for high specific speed mixed-flow pump,the numerical simulation of it was calculated by commercial software fluent.Reynold average N-S equation was used as flowing governing equation.The standard k-e two equation turbulent mode was adopted as modified equation.The SIMPLE algorithm was used to solve the N-S equation.The results gained are as following: there was a clear minus pressure zone at the entrance of impeller near rim,apparent rotor-stator interaction between the impeller and guide vane body flow impact present at the entrance of impeller which did not affect the whole flow by analyzing pressure distribution and velocity distribution of high specific speed mixed-flow pump.All the results above discovered interior flow for high specific speed mixed-flow pump and provided the basis for performance improvement.Read More
