Abstract: The paper explores the calligraphy and historical content of P5043 in Dunhuang Documents and argues that P5043 is composed and written by Ouyang Xun to sing the praises for the last Emperor of Tang Dynasty. The historical textual research proves P5043 is important both in calligraphy and religion.
