Abstract:The structure of Chaoshui basin and Jiuxi basin have better comparability in Mesozoic and Cenozoic: the basins in Mesozoic are both skip and pull apart basins, the basin in Cenozoic are both intracont...The structure of Chaoshui basin and Jiuxi basin have better comparability in Mesozoic and Cenozoic: the basins in Mesozoic are both skip and pull apart basins, the basin in Cenozoic are both intracontinental foreland basins, they both develop tenso-shear and extension fault systems in Mesozoic (the boundary is skip fault, the interior of basin is extension fault), they both develop shear-compression and thrust fault systems in Cenozoic, and develop thrust nappe on one side of the basin, the first-class structural unit in Mesozoic are faulted-depression and faulted-uplift, the first-class structural unit in Cenozoic are thrust fold region, depression and slope. The development characteristic of resource rock are also radically comparability: oil-generating rock system in lower cretaceous is mainly source rock system, the organic matter type is mainly typeⅡ,now, the organic maturity is radically up to mature, the part is best mature.
