Title: Study on Pollination Biology and Conservation Strategy of Orchidaceae
Abstract: The Orchidaceae are among the most species-rich plant families and are renowned as the flagship family in plant conservation. The great taxonomic diversity of the Orchidaceae is often attributed to adaptive radiation for specific pollinators. However, there are many gaps in our knowledge of orchids, particularly in fully understanding the orchid-pollinator relationships. In fact, orchids were primarily pollination limited as well as resource constraints. The relationship between orchids and their pollinators was asymmetric, with the orchids depend more on pollinators than the reverse. Therefore,we should also not forget to preserve the orchid's pollination systems.
