Title: Retrospective analysis of 328 cases performed arteriovenous fistula
Abstract: Objective To study the advantages and disadvantages o f different an astomosis ways in internal arteriovenous fistula surgery and the cause of these com plications. Methods The success rate and re lated complicatio ns of the 328 cases performed arteriovenous fistula surgery with end to en d anastomosis, end to side anastomosis and side to side anastomosis were analyzed.Res ults The success rate of arteriovenous fistula surgery was 92.9%.All could reach the ma intenance hemodialysis standard, and no significantly statistically difference w as found in the anastomosis caliber between end to end anastomosis group and sid e to side anastomosis group. But significant difference was seen between end to side anastomosis and the other two ways.Internal fistula jams happened in 23 ca ses, which were mainly caused by thrombosis. The failure rate internal fistula w ere significantly increased in patients complicated with hypertension and/or dia bete(10.6% vs 3.5%,P0.05).Conclusion The end to s ide anastomosis between head vein and radial artery anastomosis has the advantage of easy operation, hig h success rate, less complication and is the first choice of establishing longt erm hemodialysis pathways.Thrombosis is still the main reasons of arteriovenous fistula jams, and we should pay attention to the prevention.High blood pressur e groups and kidney disease diabetic nephropathy group had relatively low succes s rate.We should strengthen operation skills and preoperative fully assess.
