Title: The Relationship Among Anxiety, Depression and Personality Traits of Medical Students
Abstract: Objective To study the relationship among anxiety, depression and personality traits of medical students, and to provide basis for implementing mental health work. Methods About 639 medical undergraduates were chosen by stratified cluster sampling method. They were surveyed by using Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS) and Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (EPQ) .Results There were significant correlations among anxiety, depression and personality traits. Significant differences of personality traits were found between two genders. Conclusion Healthy traits can be the efficient way to avoiding anxiety and depression and reducing mental disorders.
