Title: Effect of boron and manganese on photosynthetic characteristic of soybean
Abstract: The effect of boron(B) and/or manganese(Mn) on photosynthetic characteristics of soybean was studied in different growth phase.Soil of test was collected from deep red earth in Jinhua with conditions of B and Mn deficiency.The results showed that supply of appropriate B,appropriate Mn alone or both combination increased chlorophyll content,photosynthetic rate and respiratory rate,decreased the accumulation of soluble carbohydrate in leaf.Moreover,coordinate application of B and Mn had an obvious effect compared with the single application.The effect of single appropriate manganese addition on photosynthesis was better than single appropriate boron,while the effect on soluble carbohydrate transport was on the contrary.It suggested that proper supply of B and Mn improve photosynthesis productivity in soybean,and mixing appropriate B with Mn could help each other.
