Title: Analysis on drug resistance of extended-spectrum β-lactamases producing Escherichia coli and Klebsiella Pneumniae
Abstract: Objective:To study the distribution and drug sensitivity characteristics of extended-spectrum β-lactamases(ESBLs) producing Klebsiella(K.) Pneumniae and Escherichia(E.) coli for guiding the clinical drug using. Methods:The K-B agar diffusion method and the confirmed test were adopted to detect the drug resistance and distributions of ESBLs-producing K.pneumniae and E.coli.Results:Among 347 isolates of K.pneumniae and E.coli,83 strains(22.6%) were ESBLs producing. The total detection rate was 20.3% for E.coli and 28.6% for K.pneumniae.ESBLs-producing strains were resistant to most antimicrobials, but sensitive to imipenem(100%).Conclusion:ESBLs-producing strains are the most common pathogens causing infections in clinic.Imipenem is the best choice to treat ESBLs-producing bacterial infections.
