Title: Effects of Low Temperature Stress on Physiological Characteristics of Zhanshi 327-13 Seedling Leaves
Abstract: The present experiment was conducted to study the physiological and biochemical parameters related to low-temperature resistance in the leaves of two rubber seedlings,zhanshi 327-13 and GT1.The plants were treated with 10 and 6.The results showed that,compared with the normal temperature 15℃(control),the activities of POD in rubber seedlings with low-temperature treatments increased;SOD activity increased of Zhanshi 327-13,but decreased initially and then increased of GT1;CAT activity had a reverse trend between Zhanshi 327-13 and GT1;soluble sugar with low-temperature treatments increased initially,then decreased followed;soluble protein content increased of Zhanshi 327-13 and increased initially and then decreased of GT1;relative conductivity did not vary much.It was concluded that the cold resistance of variety Zhanshi 327-13 was higher than that of variety GT1.
