Title: An analysis of the systematic distribution of segmental sonority in the English syllable
Abstract: Syllable is the hierarchic natural feature of a language, and there are rules of the phonological sequences of the syllabic structure. Linguists have so far established theories in trying to find the rules and something they depend on. An analysis of the systematic distribution of segmental sonority in the English syllable throws light on the phonological sequences of the syllabic structure, which are decided by the rules of the sonority distribution of segments in the syllable.
