Title: Sclerotherapy for 45 patients of cirrhosis combined with esophageal varices by endoscope
Abstract: Objective To study the efficacy of endoscopic sclerotherapy for esophageal varices.Methods The esophageal varices of 45 cases with cirrhotic patients were treated by endoscopic sclerotherapy with non-water ethanol totalling 96 times.Results The bleeding of 28 cases (93.3%) was stopped by emergency sclerotherapy in 30 patients with bleeding,no efficacy in 2 cases (6.7%).15 were treated by preventing sclerotherapy.In all cases,general effective rate was 91.1% (41 cases),with no efficacy of 4 cases(8.9%).Conclusion The endoscopic scleraotherapy by non-water ethanol for esophageal varices with low price,clear part view can be widely applied.
