Title: A Double-level-method Applied in Coastal Tourism Resource Evaluation: A Case Study of Coastal Guangxi
Abstract: A double-level-method is established in this paper to estimate the actual and potential developmental values of coastal tourism resources,in which many results and data from coastal survey and oceanographical research are used.Three evaluation frameworks are built respectively for the three types of coastal tourism resources, namely eco-tourism resource, human tourism resource and recreational beach. The distribution and combination of tourism resources are discussed and a quantitative method is presented to evaluate the coastal tourism resources scientifically and objectively by using cluster and spatial analysis methods with SPSS and ARC VIEW software. It is shown that 1) the double-level-method can estimate the actual and potential values of coastal tourism resources effectively, for it fully considers the course of tourism development and the characteristics of coastal tourism, and so it can identify potential areas for tourism development;2) there are abundant tourism resources in the coasts of Guanxi with high actual or potential developmental values;3) the tourism resources in coastal Guanxi are relatively concentrative and easy to be exploited
