Title: Comparative study on two types of digestive reconstruction after total gastrectomy for gastric cancer
Abstract: Objective To explore the two types of digestive tract reconstruction after total gastrectomy in gastric carcinoma for improving survival and quality of the patients.Methods72 patients were divided into P loop/Roux-en-Y and Lahey's anastomosis. The degestive tract symptom and nutritional status were compared after surgery.ResultsWeight loss, decreased of total protein(TP) and hemoglobin(Hb) were less in P loop/Roux-en-Y group than those in Lahey group(P0.05).P loop/Roux-en-Y had an advantage of anti-esophageal refux and dumping syndrome.ConclusionP loop/Roux-en-Y is a better reconstruction procedure after total gastrectomy, which can improve postoperative quality of life and nutritional status.
