Title: Studies on feed protein production from apple pomace by liquid-solid state fermentation
Abstract: Feeding protein production from apple pomace by liquid-solid state fermentation(LSSF) was studied. The dried apple pomace ≤ 60# diameter was fermented for 24 h at liquid state by adding 12 times water and 4% sucrose, then transferred into solid state system with 0.3 mL/g substrate, and turned into products after 72 h(fermenting.) The result shows that the mass fraction of crude protein and real protein in fermented products reaches 29.08% and 26.63% from(16.28%) and 10.02% respectively, while crude cellulose reduces to 10.32% from(16.68 %.) Amino acids are abundant and reasonable in composition.Feed protein products are complied with State Standard of feed hygiene and can be used in livestock breeding widely.LSSF is better than solid state fermentation(SSF) and suits to be used in commercial process.
