Title: PROGRESS IN THE STUDY OF MELT INCLUSIONS & THEIR VOLATILES AND ANALYSIS METHODS
Abstract: Melt inclusions in phenocrysts were formed when minerals grew and enclosed primitive magma drops. The melt inclusions which hadn't leaked preserved previous compositions of the primitive magma. The intacted melt inclusions can provide actual and direct information about primitive magma, in the mean time they can reveal the physical and chemical conditions of rock and ore-formation, and magma evolution as well. So it's an important aspect of geology to study melt inclusions. The author summarized the progress in the study of melt inclusions in recent years, and compared the characteristics of several analysis method.s.
