Title: Clinical efficacy and safety of levocarnitine combined with Shenmai injection in the treatment of chronic pulmonary heart disease complicated with heart failure
Abstract: Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of levocarnitine combined with Shenmai injection in the treatment of chronic pulmonary heart disease complicated with heart failure. Methods A total of 128 patients with chronic pulmonary heart disease complicated with heart failure were randomly divided into treatment group( 66 cases) and control group( 62 cases). Patients in control group were treated with levocarnitine 3 g,once a day for 3 weeks, while patients in treatment group were treated with Shenmai injection 100 m L,once a day combined with levocarnitine levocarnitine 3 g,once a day for 3 weeks. The clinical efficacy, cardiac function improvement and adverse drug reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the total efficacy was 95. 45% in the treatment group, significantly higher than85. 48% in the control group( P 0. 05). Cardiac functions in two groups after treatment were better than those before treatment, and cardiac function improvement in the treatment group was superior than that in control group( P 0. 05). There was no adverse drug reactions. Conclusion Shenmai injection combined with levocarnitine can significantly improve the clinical efficacy of chronic pulmonary heart disease complicated with heart failure with medication safety.
