Title: Simulation for Aperiodic Stimulation Response of Neuron Based on Stochastic Resonance Detecting
Abstract: As to neural system studies, the response to aperiodic stimulation has shown its important role, both on theory or in practice.By utilizing means of mutual information rate and theory of stochastic resonance detection,in order to simulate ability of organism in signal detection, aperiodic stochastic resonance in single Hodgkin-Huxley neure is studied. Results indicate that,in a single neuron, aperiodic stochastic resonance phenomenon exists not only in subthreshold signal, but in some special situations, aperiodic stochastic resonance for suprathreshold signal is also observed. Thus, this study gives a new method about neural signal detection that under strong noise background, given that real-world signals are typically accompanied with noises.
