Title: A phenomenological study on physical and mental experience of college nursing students during clinical practice
Abstract: Objective To explore the physical and mental experience of college nursing students during clinical practice. Methods A qualitative research was conducted on 13 college nursing interns by in-depth interview and observing,the whole interview was noted. The data were analyzed according to Colaizzi's procedure. Results The nursing students' experience included low professional recognition,negative interaction with patients,waning enthusiasm for learning,and mixed feeling for future. Conclusions The major emotion was negative in the college nursing interns’ physical and mental experience. Nursing educators should take measures to make the optimal practice mode and promote the nursing students' physical and mental health.
