Title: A Case-control Study on Influencing Factors of Liver Cancer with 112 Cases
Abstract: Objective To investigate the main risk factors of liver cancer in the island residents of Yuhuan county and provide evidences for causes prevention and population prevention and control.Methods A 1:2 matched case-control study was carried out with 112 cases of primary hepatic carcinoma(male: 99 cases;female:13 cases;age: 57.5±13.2 years) which were diagnosed from 2004 to 2005.The conditional logistic regression model was used for single factor analysis and multivariate analysis.Results The results of multivariate analysis showed the OR values of malignant tumor history,HBsAg infection,eating tomatoes,eating carrots and eating salted food were 6.03,246.48,4.02,0.05 and 5.70 respectively.Conclusions The malignant tumor history,HBsAg infection,eating tomatoes and eating salted food(≥1 time per week) may be risk factors of liver cancer,eating carrots may be a protective factor.
