Title: Orthogonal Design-Based Optimization of Extraction Technology of Total Polysaccharides from Non-Medicinal Parts of Platycodon Grandiforus
Abstract: Objective To optimize the extraction technology of total polysaccharides from the non-medicinal parts of Platycodon grandiforus. Methods With extraction rate yield of total polysaccharides as the indicator,an orthogonal design was used to investigate the effects of material/water ratio, extraction times, and extraction time on extraction process and to determine the optimal extraction process. Results The optimum extraction parameters were as follows: material/water ratio of 1∶25,3 times of extraction, and 1 h each time of extraction. Conclusion The optimized technology for extraction of total polysaccharides from the non-medicinal parts of Platycodon grandiforus is stable, reasonable, and feasible.
