Title: Dyeing process with low alkali reactive dyes
Abstract: Low alkali DH reactive dyes are applied to cotton dyeing at 80 ℃. The influences of dosages of sodium sulphate and sodium carbonate, dyeing temperature and time on K/S value are discussed. The optimum dyeing process is determined with orthogonal experiments as follows: liquor ratio 1:20,sodium carbonate 3 g/L,sodium sulphate 80 g/L,fixation at 80 ℃ for 40 min. Compared with traditional reactive dyeing process, the low alkali process features higher color yield, similar color fastness, and reduced sodium carbonate dosage with only 1 /8 of the former, and it is a simple process and can save water and time.
