Title: Dynamics Study of the Effects of Low Temperature Stress on Physiological and Biochemical Indexes During Re-greening of Wheat Etiolated Seedlings
Abstract: Changes in the contents of proline, soluble sugars, protein,MDA and chlorophyll and the activity of SOD,POD and CAT in etiolated wheat leaves at low temperature(10 ℃) were studied. The results showed that low temperature stress resulted in marked decrease in proline content and the activity of SOD,POD and CAT in etiolated wheat in a short time, which was followed by a moderate rise of the above indexes. At last, they showed different tendencies of change. At the same time, the contents of soluble sugars and protein rose firstly, followed by a decline.Low temperature stress enhanced the content of MDA and reduced the content of chlorophyll.
