Title: FIVE NEW SPECIES OF ERIOPHYIDAE FROM CHINA (ACARI:ERIOPHYOIDEA)
Abstract: The present paper deals with five new species of the Eriophyidae from China,they belong to Phyllocoptinae,Anthocoptini Amrine Stasny,1994, Tegolophus Keifer,1961 and Abacarus Keifer,1944.Thellength unit is in micron.The type specimens are deposited in the Department of Plant Protection,Nanjing Agricultural University.1 Tegolophus syringae sp.nov. (Figs.1-5) This new species is similar to Tegolophus salicis Zhao et Kuang,2000,but it is distingushed from the latter by the absence of admedian lines,coxae with stripes design and tergites 18-21. Holotype ♀,paratypes 5♀♀,on Syringa sp.,Shenyang City(41.8°N,123.4°E),Liaoning Province,27 Jul.1990,by KUANG Hai-Yuan.Vagrant.2 Tegolophus panici sp.nov. (Figs.6-10) This new species is similar to Tegolophus fontanesiae Kuang et Hong,1991,but the new species without transverse line to join the admedian lines,submedian lines incomplete,and with teeth in front of edge of anterior lobe,featherclaw with 5-6 rayed. Holotype ♀,paratypes 23♀♀,on Panicum miliaceum L., Chongqing City(29.5°N, 106.5 °E),15 Jul.1991, by LIN Fu-Ping.Vagrant.3 Tegolophus lespedezae sp.nov. (Figs.11-15) This new species is similar to Tegolophus zizyphagus Keifer,1961,but its coxae with stripes design and the featherclaw with 5-6 rays. Holotype ♀,paratypes 14♀♀,on Lespedeza bicolor Turcz,Anshan City(41.1°N,123.0°E),Liaoning Province,26 Jul.1990,by KUANG Hai-Yuan.Vagrant.4 Abacarus yunensis sp.nov. (Figs.1-5) This new species is close to Abacarus wuyinensis Kuang Zhuo,1987,but the new species without granules between admedian lines,tergites and coxae smooth and featherclaw with 7-8 rays. Holotype ♀,paratypes 7 ♀♀,on Bambusa sp.,Chongqing City (29.5°N,106.5°E),23 Jul.1991,by LIN Fu-Ping.Vagrant.5 Abacarus phyllostachyis sp.nov (Figs.6-10) This new species is close to Abacarus oryzae Keifer,1963,but it ornamented with a curve streak on shield,dorsal setae spine-like and tergites smooth. Holotype ♀,paratypes 28 ♀♀,on Phyllostachys pubescens Mazel ex Lehaie,Yongchun County (25.3°N,118.3°E),Fujian Province,8 Jan.1998, by ZHANG Yan-Xuan.Vagrant.
