Title: Observations on the Efficacy of Pricking Bloodletting plus Acupuncture in Treating Acne
Abstract: Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of pricking bloodletting plus acupuncture in treating acne.Method Eighty-four acne patients were randomly allocated to three group, 28 cases each.The observation group was treated by pricking bloodletting plus acupuncture, the acupuncture control group, with acupuncture and the bloodletting control group, by pricking bloodletting.The therapeutic effects were evaluated in all the three groups after two courses of treatment.Results The total efficacy rate was significantly higher in the observation group than in the acupuncture control group and in the bloodletting control group(P0.05).Conclusion Pricking bloodletting plus acupuncture can effectively increase the efficacy rate in treating acne compared with simple acupuncture or pricking bloodletting.
