Title: EFFECTS OF NATURAL NO-TILLAGE CROOPPING TECHIQUES IN DRY LAND ON SOIL FERTILIY
Abstract: Studies on soil fertility changes of calcium purple soil under continuous cultivation of no-tillage and mulch straw farming from 1992-1995 were conducted. Results showed that soil bulk density were decreased by no tillage. ridge cultivation could form deep soil layer, and are favorable to activating soil nutrients. Mulch straw could increase soil nutrients accumulaion, inhibit soil water evaporation and keep soil structure. Combined measures of no-tillage, mulch straw and ridge cultivation can improve and increase soil fertility.
