Title: Biodegradation of Chlorinated Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Water Body by Co-metabolism Mechanism
Abstract: Chlorinated aromatic hydrocarbons and their derivatives are the persistent organic compounds, which are toxic or not easy to degrade.Their detectable rate is very high in the river waters in China, and some of them are of priority(pollutants.)These(organic) pollutants in water could be biodegraded mostly, even fully through the co-metabolism action by some microorganisms. In terms of chlorinated aromatic hydrocarbons in the aquatic environment, the sorts, reasons, and(influencing) factors of co-metabolism are(analyzed.)The recent related research achievements are summarized, and the(developing) prospect is discussed.
