Title: Study on relative motion characteristics of two phases in cyclone reactor
Abstract: Base on dynamic analysis of the dispersed phase in swirling flow field from related literatures, the equations of relative motion of two phases in swirling flow field in 3D directions were derived. From the results it was concluded: the two phases both possessed relative motion in 3D directions; the motion speed appeared exponential decay with time in tangential and axial direction; relative speed in radial direction had quantitative relationship with flow. The equations could be applied to the design of the cyclone reactor. In addition, application of the relative speed equations to other fields was discussed also.
