Title: Analysis on infection and drug resistance of Mycoplasma in 643 patients with NGU
Abstract: Objective To investigate the infection and drug resistance of Mycoplasma in the patients with non-gonococcal urethritis(NGU).Methods Ureaplasma urealyticum(Uu) and Mycoplasma hominis(Mh) as well as their drug susceptibilities were tested by using the mycoplasma detection kits produced by Shenzhen Yinke. Results The total infection rate was 48.83% in 643 patients with NGU.The infection rate in feminine(59.71%) was obviously higher than that in masculine(30.08%)(P0.01).Only Uu positive rate(36.39%) was higher than both Uu and Mh positive rate(10.58%) and only Mh positive rate(1.87%)(P0.01).The resistant rates to ciprofloxacin, kfloxacin, roxithromycin, spiramycin and levofloxacin were all higher than 70.00%.Doxycyclinen,minocycline,clarithromycin and josamycin were sensitive to Mycoplasma. Conclusion The infection of Uu is common in the patients of NGU and the infection rate in feminine is higher than that in masculine.Antimicrobial agents should be chosen according to antimicrobial susceptibility test results because of their high and multi-drug resistance.
