Title: Logistic Regressions of Risk Factors in Hemorrhagic Stroke and Ischemic Stroke
Abstract: Objective To further explore the risk factors in stroke, especially the changeable ones, so as to prevent and control the occurrence of strode. Methods The 1∶1 matched case-control study was conducted and conditional Logistic regression model was used. The cases were new stroke patients from the registration of four community hospitals in Shanghai, and the controls were selected by the gender and neighborhood, and each pair's ages were permitted to differ within 5 years. Results Hypertension, preci-pitancy and drinking entered the multiple conditional Logistic regression equation for the hemorrhagic stroke, and their OR were 122.45, 37.81 and 11.63,respectively; while hypertension, more salt intake, precipitancy and excessive strain for the ischemic stroke, and their OR were 7.49, 4.61, 3.08 and 2.06, respectively. Conclusions It's necessary to implement a comprehensive prevention program, such as hypertension control, lifestyle and dietary habit modification, and good mentality maintenance.
