Abstract: The ceremony for reporting victory to the Emperor before the Qin Dynasty was a kind of military salute in the ancient time.It especially referred to the fact that when the titled dukes defeated the ethnic tribes,they held the ceremony to report to the Emperor.this military salute contained zhenlv,xiankaiyue,gaoji,xianfu,yinzhi,dashang.From the point of cultural origin,the ceremony for reporting victory developed on the ceremony of Preqin Dynasty of the season hunting activity.After the south and north danysties,there were two new ceremonies of xianqin of Feibiao and Lubu.At the same time,a new phenomenon occurred due to the success of suppression of peasant uprisings.The change of the ceremony for reporting victory reflected Chinese dramatic changes in political life.
