Title: Clinical Efficacy of TACE Combined with Thermal Therapy for Liver Cancer
Abstract: Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of transhepatic arterial chemotherapy and embolization( TACE)combine with thermal therapy high intensity focused ultrasound( HIFU) for advanced liver cancer. Methods 95 cases of advanced liver cancer were divided into the experiment group( TACE + HIFU,50 cases) and the control group( TACE,45 cases). The control group were treated by TACE,the experiment group were treated by TACE + HIFU. The liver function index, the levels of AFP,lesions imaging changes and clinical efficacy were compared between the 2 groups. Results The levels of ALT in the control group after treatment were higher than before the treatment( P 0. 05); The levels of ALT,AST and AFP in the experiment group after treatment were lower than before the treatment( P 0. 05); The levels of ALT,AST,AFP for the experiment group after treatment were lower than those of the control group( P 0. 05); The CT scan image showed a lot of iodine oil deposits and tumor size shrink to different extent after treated by TACE; The MRI enhancement scan visible area tumor with obvious coagulation necrosis foci after treated by TACE + HIFU; The total effective rate in the experiment group was higher than that of the control group( P 0. 05). Conclusion TACE + HIFU for advanced liver cancer can effectively improve the liver function and AFP,help the lesions to narrow and necrosis, the clinical effects is remarkable. It can be used as an optimal scheme for the treatment of advanced liver cancer.
