Title: Nutrient Loss Characteristics of Yellow Soil Slope Land under Simulated Rainfall Condition
Abstract: The effect of different simulated rainfall intensity and slopes on nutrient loss of yellow soil slope land to reveal runoff and sediment loss regulation of soil slope under the rainfall condition and characteristics of runoff and sediment nutrient content and to provide the scientific basis for control of water and soil erosion and reduction of nutrient loss. The results showed that total sediment amount and total runoff amount are positively correlated with rainfall intensity significantly, nutrient loss amount of soil with different slopes increases with increase of rainfall intensity and nutrient loss amount of soil with different slopes is in accordance with sediment amount variation.Under four rainfall intensities, nitrate nitrogen loss all is more than total ammonium nitrogen, potassium and phosphorous. In conclusion, nitrate nitrogen loss is the main pattern of soil nutrient loss.Soil nutrient loss is affected by rainfall mainly and there are significant differences between different nutrient loss and rainfall intensity.Rainfall intensity is the important factor to influence runoff, sediment loss and soil nutrient loss.
