Title: Comparison of Therapeutic Efficacy of Omeprazole Combined with Famotidine vs.Ranitidine in the Treatment of Peptic Ulcer
Abstract: OBJECTIVE:To observe therapeutic efficacy of omeprazole combined with famotidine vs.ranitidine in the treatment of peptic ulcer.METHODS:From Jan.2009 to Nov.2010,95 inpatients with peptic ulcer were randomly divided into combined therapy group(48 cases,omeprazole combined with famotidine) and ranitidine group(47 cases,ranitidine).Levofloxacin was used to make antibiotic treatment in 2 groups.All cases were followed up for 6 months.pH in stomach,helicobacter pylori(Hp) eradicated or not and other indicators were compared before and after treatment.RESULTS:After 4 weeks treatment,peptic ulcer symptoms of 2 groups were improved.Compared with ranitidine group,acid resistance capacity of combined therapy group was strong and persistent(P0.05).After 6 months following-up,Hp was removed completely in combined therapy group(P0.05).No severe ADR was found in 2 groups.CONCLUSION:Omeprazole combined with famotidine is effective and safe in treatment of peptic ulcer.
