Title: Membrane crystallization of protein solutions:the study of lysozyme membrane crystallization
Abstract: The continuous osmotic membrane crystallization method was adopted to study on the crystallization of lysozyme.The influences of various crystallization conditions on the shape and quality of lysozyme crystals were investigated and some high quality crystals obtained after the crystallization conditions were optimized.The experiments show that high quality lysozyme crystals can be obtained in the following conditions:the concentration of lysozyme was 20~30 mg/mL,40~90 g/L NaCl as the crystallizing agent,160~250 g/L MgCl2 as the stripping solutions and the buffer at pH 4.7~8.2.
