Title: The Scientific Meaning and Importance of the Category of Practice
Abstract: This paper describes that between the subject and the object, practice is considered as a bridge, a t1e, a linking point and a passagc. Like an expressway, its form consists of a two-lane track with its first lane going from the subject to the object and the second going vice versa. There exist four types of practice including movement in sequence and development in order. The paper justifies that intellectuals' spiritual activities are sorts of practice, too- The so-called idea in the past that intellectuals went off the way of practice is actually a state of non-existence. Therefore, for the prosperity of the country through science and education and for the cause of the socialistic construction, it is quite necessary to get rid of this false idea and positively recognize intellectuals' proper status and their important role in the course of prac-tice.
