Title: Diagnostic Value of Quantitative Detection of Prostate-specific Antigen in Prostate Diseases
Abstract: Objective To study the clinical value of quantitative detection of prostate-specific antigen(PSA) in diagnosis, differential diagnosis, and prognosis monitoring of prostate diseases. Methods 3ml blood samples were collected from 26 cases of patients with prostate cancer,65 cases of patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia,29 cases of patient with prostatitis,23 cases of patient without prostate disease, and 100 cases of normal male people on an empty stomach in the morning, respectively and PSA was detected quantitatively with automated chemiluminescent immunoassay analyzer(ACCESS2).Results PSA value was 14.54ng/ml in prostate cancer group and(2.10~10.61)ng/ml in benign prostatic hyperplasia group. The PSA value was in the normal range for prostatitis group,non-prostate disease and the normal group. Conclusion PSA can be used as early diagnosis of prostate cancer, and it is a sensitive index for tumor marker and prognosis monitoring of prostate diseases.
