Title: Study on the AS-AQ Pulping and the Subsequent Oxygen Delignification of Wheat Straw
Abstract: Research was conducted on the AS-AQ pulping and the subsequent oxygen delignification of wheat straw.The results obtained by uniform design showed that the best pulping conditions were:total alkali charge 15% (as NaOH),sulfitity 65%,dosage of anthraquinone 0.05%,liquor ratio 1:5,maximum temperature 160℃,time to maximum temperature 90 minutes,time at maximum temperature 65 minutes. The pulp obtained under the above conditions had lower kappa number,higher viscosity and better strength properties.Experimental results showed that the pulp by oxygen delignification had good selectivity with high delignification rate (extended delignification could be implemented),better drainage property and high level of pulp viscosity and fairly lower strength loss.After oxygen delignification,the kappa number of pulp is 4.8,the pulp viscosity is 1018ml/g and the brightness of pulp is 62.5%ISO.
