Abstract: This paper reports a new species and a ne v record of Trichosea from China.1. Trichosea zhangi sp. nov.The new species resembles Trichosea chamoa Moore, but it is distinguished from the latter as follows: 1. the veins of terminal half of hind wing not black; 2. valva tapering to the tip.Holotype (?) Miaotaizi, Shannxi Province, 20. Ⅵ. 1981, collected by Zhang Bao-lin; para-type (?), ditto. The types of the new species are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Academia Sinica.2. Trichosea funebris BerioNew to China, collected from Lijiang, Yunnan Province, Ⅵ. 1979.
