Title: Clinical Analysis of Nosocomial Infection in Senile Patients with Type 2 Diabetes
Abstract: Objective:To analyze the clinical characteristics,risk factors and prevention measures of nosocomial infection in senile patients with type 2 diabetes.Methods:172 senile patients with type 2 diabetes were retrospectively analyzed.Results:The nosocomial infection rate was 17.4%.The 172 case developed nosocomial infection for 52 times(30.2%).Lower repiratory tract infection was the most frequent infection site.The species were predominated by Gran-negative bacillus(61.1%).The risk factors of nosocomial infection were long term hospitalization,taking antibiotic,complications and poor glycemic control.Conclusion:The nosocomial infection rate is high in senile patients with type 2 diabetes.We should take prevention measures according to the risk factors in order to decreasing hospital infection rates.
