Title: Experience of Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy in 160 Cases of Elderly Patients
Abstract: Objective:To evaluate the herapeutic effect and superiority of the laparoscopic cholecystectomy in elderly patients.Method:Retrospectively reviewed the clinical data in 160 patients over 65 years of age.Results:One hundred and forty eight cases with laparoscopic cholecystectomy were succeeded.Twelve cases were transferred to open operation,no serious complications or death occurred.Conclusion:LC can be performed safely in elderly patients by good training and careful postoperative management.
