Abstract: The Anti-Japanese War period was an important stage in which the Chinese Communist Party correctly understood the religious issues and fully carried out the religious work. Whether in the Anti-Japanese democratic base areas, or in the Kuomintang-controlled areas and enemy-occupied areas, the Chinese Communist Party has formulated religious policies suited to the Anti-Japanese War, upheld and expanded the Anti-Japanese National United Front, and actively guided religions to adapt with the Anti-Japanese War, which has promoted the process of the Anti-Japanese War’s victory, accumulated positive theoretical achievements and practical experiences, and provided reference for the Chinese Communist Party’s religious work in the future.
