Abstract: Objective To explore the clinical effect of inhaled budesonide in treatment of neonatal pneumonia. Methods A total of 160 neonates with pneumonia were randomly divided into control group and experiment group with 80 in each group. All the patients received routine treatment. The control group was given ambroxol therapy, and the experiment group received inhaled budesonide.Clinical effect, recovery of main symptoms and signsof body and respiratory parameters were analyzed. Results The effectiveness ratesin the experiment group and the control group were93.8%and 72.5%respectively with significant difference(P0.05).Short breath, rhinostegnosis, cyanosis, lung rale and hospital stay in experiment group were much earlier than those in the control group(P0.05).24 and 48 hours after treatment,PCO2greatly decreased and OI increased in comparison with the control group(P0.05).Conclusion Inhaled budesonide and ambroxol for neonatal pneumonia greatly reduce treatment duration and improve the clinical effect.
