Abstract:In order to master the overburden strata migration features of the Wongawilli mining face under thin base rock with shallow depth,taking No.42216 Wongawilli mining face in Yujialiang Mine of Shendong ...In order to master the overburden strata migration features of the Wongawilli mining face under thin base rock with shallow depth,taking No.42216 Wongawilli mining face in Yujialiang Mine of Shendong Company as the study object,with the theoretical calculation,the site monitoring and measuring and other technical means,a linear pressure monitoring and measuring of the powered support,roof subsidence,coal wall spalling observation and the surface ground displacement monitoring and measuring plan suitable for the mine features in Shendong Mining Area were obtained.The paper provided the calculation method of the limit suspended roof area in the Wongawilli mining face in a shallow depth seam under the thin base rock.The results showed that at the initial miming of the Wongawilli mining face,the roof pressure behavior was not obvious.With the suspended roof area increased,the roof pressure was extremely unstable and the roof pressure would be high and low.When the immediate roof was forced caved or naturally fallen down,the roof pressure would be steadily in stable.With the shortwall mining face advanced forward,the roof pressure would have periodical features.The surface ground subsidence above the Wongawilli mining face would have the features of the suddenness and benches.Read More
