Analyzing test data by Matlab, the relation curves of 50% lightning impulse voltage to dry-arc distance for insulators with different rated voltages are obtained; the relational expressions of 50% lightning impulse voltage to dry-arc distance for insulators with rated voltage from 110 kV to 500 kV are fitted. By means of lifting the peak value of impulse voltage, the voltage-time curve of insulator with rated voltage 110 kV is researched and plotted, the obtained results are available for reference in the selection of composite insulators.Read More
